MYERS, Odette

 

Odette Myers (nee McFadyen), beloved wife of (Charles) Mike Myers was taken by the angels on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at the age of 78 years, after a lengthy illness.  Odette was born in Tisdale Saskatchewan.  She will be sadly mourned by Mike, her husband of 62 years; her four children and their spouses, Michele and Stephen Ferreira, Archie and Janet Myers, Lynn and Terry Barlow, and Corinna and Trevor Taylor; her twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.  Odette was predeceased by her Mother May McFadyen (nee Mason), and her Father Archie McFadyen, as well as her brothers and sisters Havelock, Jim, Hector, Ann, Vivian, and Peggy.  A memorial will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Strathmore Royal Canadian Legion Hall (230, 2nd Ave) from 2:00 to 5:00 pm.  No flowers please.  If desired, donations in Odette’s memory may be made directly to the Spirit of Survival Cancer Fund and would be greatly appreciated.  To send condolences, please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.
