Choice
If I had choice
Of realms in which to dwell
I’d free this soul
From body and worlds worth
To soar with eagles
On the winds express
Free from the clinging bonds
I’ve known on earth.
If I had choice
Of voice in which to sing
I’d say a chorus
From the sky’s expanse,
My song a clear expression
Of a soul set free
And down across the fleece of cloud
I’d dance.
