Expressions the Dance Gallery great rehearsal for upcoming competitions

Expressions the Dance Gallery held a successful sold out Spring Gala at Strathmore’s High School on the weekend.

The two hour show showcased all aspects and dance genres that the Gallery has to offer the young people in and around the Strathmore area. The audience was treated to ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop and musical theatre.

The evidence of hard work and determination from the youngest performers to the more senior dancers came through in their performances. Heather Thomas, Artistic Director and owner of Expressions the Dance Gallery commended the parents and grandparents for all the hard work and volunteer hours and labour that goes on behind the scenes of productions. Most importantly, she stressed that the encouragement and support the parents give their kids could be seen in the excellent work that the kids produce.

Expressions the Dance Gallery was founded in 1983 in Calgary, making the 2012/2013 dance season their 30th successful year training and educating dancers in Alberta. 
They offer dance classes in: Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Acrobatics, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Modern, Pointe, Hip Hop, 
Aerial Dance and more. Classes are available for students aged three-years-old and up to include adult classes. Sessions begin all year round, 
it’s never too late to start dancing.
