VAILLANCOURT, Alfred “Fred”

August 26, 1921 – Nov. 30, 2012

 

It is with saddened hearts we announce the passing of our father and grandfather Alfred on November 30, 2012 at the age of 91 years.  Fred is survived by his daughter Muriel Morten; granddaughter Lindsay; son Al and his three children Marie, Michael, and Jackie; along with five great-grandchildren.  Fred, from a family of six, is also survived by his brother Bernard; nephew Ernie; and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his wife Jeannette of 56 years; three sisters and one brother; son-in-law Dave Morten; and his fuzzy little pal Cona.  Fred spent the last five years at the Wheatland Lodge where the staff and residents quickly became his second family.  At Fred’s request there will be no service.  To send condolences, please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.
