It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness we announce the passing of Marie Schulz (Friesen) on October 25, 2012. After a brave and courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer, Mom peacefully passed away surround by love at the Foothills Country Hospice in Okotoks, AB at the age of 67.  Marie was born and raised in Love, SK, married Ray Schulz in 1962 and together they raised four beautiful children. Marie’s unconditional love, unwavering support, zest for life, quick wit and sense of humour will be fondly remembered by all that knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed by her loving husband of 50 years, Ray of Turner Valley, AB, daughters: Melinda Harris of White Fox, SK, Tracy (Dave) Walstra of Strathmore, AB, sons: Vince of Calgary, AB and Terry of Black Diamond, AB., six cherished grandchildren: Pamela, Lyndsay, Chelsea, Josh, Cassidy and Samantha, three great-grandchildren: Brydon, Nevaeh and Kaylee, sisters: Helen Ordos of Edmonton, Vera Nowlin of Stettler, AB, brothers: Johnny and Bill both from Love, SK. and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in the memory of Marie Schulz to Foothills Country Hospice (Box 274  Okotoks, AB T1S 1A5 www.countryhospice.org). A Celebration of Marie’s life will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home.
