The Strathmore Assembly of Youth has been working hard on their newest project for this year, mapping out all of the different pathways in Strathmore.
Whether the paths are rocky, paved, intended for joggers or rollerbladers, they will soon be known to all citizens of Strathmore. Over the summer, the youth involved in SAY have updated the maps the town previously had, identifying many more routes that a lot of people were unaware of.
The plan of action for the rest of the year is to develop a pamphlet with all of the different kinds of paths (bike, walk, paved, gravel, long, short, etc.) to be available not only in paper form, but also online so users can access it from a smart phone.
This way, it will be available all throughout town whenever it is needed. The map will display pictures of landmarks, lengths of paths, fun facts about the town and more! Stay tuned to see SAY’s completed project this spring!
