PAVCEK, Andrew “Andy”

May 15, 1935 – June14, 2012

 

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Andy Pavcek.  He passed away surrounded by his family after a brief stay at the Foothills Hospital.  Andy lived in the Ardenode-Strathmore area his entire life.  He worked for Bill and Marion Frederickson and then for the WID until his retirement in 2000.  After retirement, Andy kept himself busy repairing small engines until his passing.  Andy is survived by his wife, Moira; children Andrea and Alex (Cari); son-in-law Dave (Tammy) Johnston; brother Frank (Bev); brother-in-law Dave (Donna); grandchildren Porcia, Clayton, Zachary, Julianna, Tianna, and Brooklyn; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A memorial service was held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1:30 p.m.  To send condolences, please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.
