Born May 25, 1937, passed away Sept 19, 2012 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease.  He leaves behind his wife Dorothy, son Doug (Sherry), Daughter Barb, Son Hugh (Brie), six grandchildren, Brother Raymond (Nina), Brother Gary (Lark) and many nieces and nephews.
Alvin was born at North Camp on Blackfoot Reserve.  He had many trades.  Alvin started out farming with his Dad and Brother Ray at Crowfoot.  He then moved on to begin his own farming operation in the Coronation, Stettler area.  Alvin left farming to open a tire shop with his brother Gary.  After sometime he moved his family to Golden, BC to retire but ended up taking up a career at the sawmill.  He finally did retire with his wife in Ladysmith, B.C.
The family is having a celebration of Alvin’s life at the Rockyford Community Centre Sept 29, 2012 from 2 – 5pm.  Everyone Welcome.
