New equipment

The Legion has stepped up for the community again by providing the Hospital physiotherapy department with a new set of gym equipment.
The older piece of equipment, which the physiotherapists used to help patients develop strength in their legs, broke.
“We needed the equipment replaced and the Legion stepped up to the plate once again. We really appreciate it,” said Loretta Keegan, physiotherapist.
They had only requested one piece of equipment, but after assessing the needs of the department, the Legion provided a four-station strength building gym.
“They went out of their way and provided the whole works,” said Keegan. “We have had a number of clients use the new equipment and they have said they like it and feel it is making a difference.”
