Hussar 4-H combination club of Beef and Horse had a successful year this year as was demonstrated with their banquet on Sunday, June 24.
Thirty-three young people from in and around the Hussar area congregated at the community hall with parents, grandparents and sponsors to celebrate a successful year of the club.
Wendy Kaiser commented on the highlights of the year and said, “We had a very busy year for the 26 beef members and seven horse members which we wrapped up at our steak BBQ and awards night.
Through the year we had skating parties, Christmas party, curled, a delicious pot luck supper, cleaned highway, went paintballing (which is very high on the to do list next year) as well the Club adopted and shopped for a family in need for Christmas and have supplied and planted the flowers for the boulevard in Hussar.
