THIESSEN, Audrey Joan

 

Audrey was born in North Vancouver on August 4, 1945, and passed away peacefully in Strathmore on September 20, 2011.  She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Vern. She will be greatly missed by her two sisters Julie (Clint) Ballard and Louise (Jamie Turner) Hambly; four nieces and nephews Aaron (Shiela) Taylor, Kim (Jeff) Slater, Terumi (Bandar) Taylor, and Kerri (Chris) Murray; as well as numerous sisters and brothers in law. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Strathmore Alliance Church at 1:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made directly to  the Epilepsy Association of Calgary (4112 – 4 St. NW, Calgary, AB, T2K 1A2) or to Samaritan’s Purse Canada, Operation Christmas Child (20 Hopewell Way NE, Calgary, AB, T3J 5H5).
