The Standard 4-H Club held their annual Show and Sale on June 11 in Rockyford. The 4-H members had a very successful day. The club appreciates all the leaders hard work, especially Brenda Palsson the clubs main leader. To help out for the day was the conformation judge Mr. Kim Woolfitt, the Showmanship and Grooming judge Stephanie Shierman, and the Ringman Dale Palsson. It was great to have the 2010 Rockyford Rodeo Queen, Dawn Carlson join us to present ribbons to our very deserving winners.

Class #14 ~ Cleaver Kids – Landon Hebbes, William Sharpley, and Taya Sharpley all received 1st Place, a bucket and scrub brush. Class #15 ~ Champion Senior Showmanship – Brianna Kathol, Reserve Champion Senior Showmanship – Dale Palsson. Champion Senior Grooming – Adelle Ellis, Reserve Champion Senior Grooming- Marleen Palsson. Class #16 ~ Champion Intermediate Showmanship-Kylee Hebbes, Reserve Champion Intermediate Showmanship-Blake Reinhardt. Champion Intermediate Grooming-Nicole Ellis, Reserve Champion Intermediate Grooming-Amber Seeley. Class #17 ~ Champion Junior showmanship – Cassidy Reinhardt, Reserve Champion Junior Showmanship – EricaLynn Skibsted. Champion Junior Grooming – Grace Heuver, Reserve Champion Junior Grooming – EricaLynn Skibsted. Lamb with the Highest Rate of Gain was won EricaLynn Skibsted. The results for the steer show are as follows: Overall Grand Champion Senior showmanship, Club Senior Champion Showmanship, Club Reserve Champion Steer, Reserve Senior Grooming – Charlie Sharpley. Grand Champion Overall Intermediate Showmanship, and Club Champion Intermediate Grooming and Showmanship- Megan Sharpley. Club Champion, Senior Champion Grooming and Reserve Senior Champion Showmanship ~ Karly Guichon. The show was followed by a very successful sale.
