Sharing their piece of history
Every week students involved in the archaeological excavation will be submitting their own account as to how things are going. Readers will have an opportunity to follow along as they unearth pieces of history.

Week 3:
The third week in our Archaeology field school was our first full week of digging. Fortunately we were blessed with good weather after a solid week of rain and we were allowed to practice every day. The digging itself was fun, and many of us found interesting objects. Some found bones, remnants of a ancient dinner perhaps, while others happened to find arrow heads, and pot sherds.
I continued to practice digging, and learning the basics of the paper work, and the use of the special equipment. I’m still learning, but the continued practice is sure to play help me in improving my skills and knowledge of the site.
