The Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) presents ‘Opening Doors’, a two Day Cultural Diversity Symposium at Strathmore’s Centennial Civic Centre from Sept 29-30. The focus is to help build a stronger multicultural paradigm throughout the smaller centres of rural Southern Alberta.
The symposium includes keynote speakers who are there to give their outlook on immigration resettlement. The entire workshop’s activities and discussions are designed to create an overall awareness in the issues revolving around cultural integration.
As a celebration, any in attendance at the workshop are invited to a banquet at the Strathmore Travelodge on Thursday, Sept. 29 from 6 – 10 p.m. The night will include the buffet dinner, a cash bar, a dance and entertainment.
Tickets to the symposium are $55.00 and can be bought online. More information can be found at http://openingdoorsstrathmore.eventbrite.com/
