1948-2011

 

Pamela passed away suddenly at her home in Strathmore at the age of 63 years.  She was born in England on July 26, 1948 and passed away on Friday, September 16, 2011.  She emigrated to Canada with her parents and her brother, Jim, on June 1, 1957.  Pam worked at the Strathmore Hospital for the past 26 years.  She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by her daughter, Jackie; mother Pat Bannister; brother Jim (Barb); Jackie’s aunts Marilyn (Herb) Thacker and Pat Gilbert; her many nieces and nephews; and all who knew her.  A memorial service will be held at Lord of All Lutheran Church (Strathmore) on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to the Wheatland County Food Bank (c/o WFCSS, Box 2156, Strathmore, T1P 1K2) or the Canadian Cancer Society (#200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, T1P 1J9).  To send condolences, please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.  WHEATLAND FUNERAL HOME LTD.
