JURGENS, Dorothy May

 

Dorothy May Jurgens of Rockyford, Alberta passed away suddenly at Strathmore Hospital on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the age of 72. Dorothy is survived by her devoted husband Carl; children Yvonne, Angela, Tony, Wayne, Donovan, Ann Marie, and Kevin. Dorothy is also survived by two sisters and four brothers as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws and extended family who will also be mourning the loss of Dorothy. Born in Jamaica on September 4, 1938, she will be remembered as a dedicated mother, grandmother and confidant. Dorothy will also be remembered for her love of dogs and community involvement. She also loved to watch the Calgary Flames and Stampeders as well as cheering on local sports teams. A special thank you to all the medical staff at Strathmore Hospital.
