Walk or run, take your pick

This year the Heritage Day Run will be a little different than it was last year. This is the second year for the Foothill Advocacy in Motion, AIM, run or walk, and Chinook Credit Union has been a supporter of the group for the past two years. Chinook has a five-year agreement with AIM and Branch manager Bill Crawford said if things stay the same as they have been, they will sign up as a sponsor in the future.

“It’s the right thing to do, its like oatmeal,” said Crawford. It’s a $35 entrance fee, but this year the fee also includes entry to the rodeo or chuck wagon events. All participants will also receive a souvenir for taking part in the run or walk. It starts at 9 a.m. on Monday, August 2 at the rodeo grounds.
