Victory for Spurs

The Spurs beat Blizzard Madrid from Calgary when they faced off against them on June 26. The team, girls U16, won the game 3-1, and have two games left in the playoffs.  They have now played the top four teams in the Tier 5 league and have two games left before finals. The girls are currently sitting at one win and three losses in the playoffs. “We could have easily beaten them (the other three games) we’re just as good as them, it was just timing,” said coach Ken Oliphant. So far in the league the girls are sitting at five wins, six losses and one tie.
