Splashing into fun

Spalsh’N Boots will be coming to Strathmore to take part in Heritage Days. The husband and wife duo have been performing since 2003 and have put out four CD’s and seven music videos. Splash’N Boots are full of energy and fun for kids ages 2 to 7. They will be performing on the EnCana stage three times daily from Saturday until Monday.
“Its one of our favourite events,” said Nick Adams, Splash.
“There are a bunch of new songs. We get some of the kids right up on stage with us, so a lot of interaction this year,” said Adams.
One reason they love coming out here is because they think Alberta is wonderful, and Nick said they spend more time touring in Alberta than they do in Ontario. “It’s quite fun to see everyone get into it, and the audience is fantastic. I know they come for the rodeo but I think they really support the entertainment too,” said Adams.
“We’ve performed at the Heritage Days Stampede before and can see why it’s one of the top rodeos in Canada!” said Taes Adams, Boots. “The shows and the people are so much fun, we just love it.”
Splash’N Boots originated when a course assignment, at Queens University, to write children’s tunes mixed with a love for the children’s entertainers of their youth led to recordings and performances across Canada. The duo has performed in over six countries for a total of over 900 shows. They were also recently named the Canadian Children’s group of the year award winners.
