The Strathmore Spartans high school soccer team fell to 2-1 on the season with a 5-2 loss to Holy Trinity Academy, from Okotoks, May 10.

“We played about 15 minutes where we were caught chasing them and they got a couple goals on us,” said assistant coach Wes Clark.

“We also had a disallowed goal and missed an open net.

“The game was actually closer than the score.”

“I think they are a very good team,” said onlooker Roger Gilbert.

Derek Warrack scored the first goal of the game and captain Ben Skuter scored the second.
