Preparing for winter

Rosebud
The Fire Department in Rosebud has a new fire hall and now it is up to council to decide what to do with the original building. Council can either sell the building, with all of the profits going towards the new fire hall. Or it can be kept and maintained as a historical site. Councillor Glenn Koester is going to talk to residents of Rosebud before any decisions are made. 

Public Works
Public works superintendent Gerry Van Ooostwaard made a request to council to buy new scrapers and road graders before winter hits. The plan is to buy early and save from buying 2011 models. Ooostwaard also suggested council contract out the big jobs and only take care of the smaller ones, something he thinks will save taxpayers money. The motion was carried to buy two new scrapers and four new graders.
