CARDIFF, S. Colleen
1945 – 2017

After a brief stay in the Strathmore Hospital Colleen peacefully passed away on Dec. 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband Bob of 51 years; two sisters, Vivian Brocke and Louella Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. Colleen is predeceased by her two sons, Brent and Jason; and sister Gertrude Graham. Colleen spent her early years in Lloydminster. She taught music for many year and her students excelled in their exams. When they were transferred to Belleville Ont., she taught the Social Service program at the local college. Colleen received her Masters of Divinity from Queens University and did her internship as a Chaplin at Vancouver General going on to be the Director of Spiritual Care at Kelowna Hospital. She was the Interim Minister for Winfield United Church and, when they were transferred to Calgary, she was the Interim Minister at Rockyford United. Colleen had loved University and had 4 Bachelors degrees and a Master’s degree. She loved her second home in Kelowna and spent half of each year there. Colleen was known as the Plant Lady as she developed a beautiful yard full of flowers and herbs where she and her little dogs would spend hours tending over the plants.
