Helen Bechthold (nee Patzer) of Beiseker, Alberta, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the age of 96 years.
Helen and Gilbert married on November 10, 1939, they were members of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, and lived in the same farm home for seventy-two years.
Helen is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Delilah Bechthold of Medicine Hat, AB; Daughters and sons-in-law, Gail and Barry Grabo of Strathmore, AB, and Laura and Allen Pauls of Kelowna, BC; Grandchildren, Gene Jr.(Shellie), Brent (Shannon), Marlon, Shannon (Scott), Brad (Kelly), Tanya (Jean), and Mark; Great-grandchildren, Haylee, Kyler, Breena, John, and Cohen; Sister-in-law, Irene Patzer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was predeceased by her husband, Gilbert Bechthold; her parents; seven brothers and two sisters.
Funeral Services will be held at the Beiseker Level Land Seventh Day Adventist Church (16 km East and 2 ½ km south of Beiseker) on Friday, Feb. 10, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at the Beiseker Level Land Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
