DeMott, Eugene
August 7, 1933 – March 12, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. After a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, Gene passed away in his home on the Kootenay Lake, at the age of 82. Throughout his battle he was comforted by his loving wife Agnes and the presence of his family and friends. There are no words that can describe the sorrow and feelings of loss and the love that his passing leaves behind.
He is survived by his loving wife Agnes of 61 years, his daughter Suzette of Airdrie Alberta; Calvin (Linda) of Airdrie; Alberta, Douglas of Lacombe; Alberta, Scott (Laura) of Carseland Alberta; his brother Joe (Delores) of Drumeheller, Alberta and sister Ione of Wyoming, Ontario. Gene also left behind 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, whom all adored him. , Brother and Sister in laws and numerous nieces and nephews.
