Drake, Phyllis Ivy (nee Hartell)
July 17th, 1929 – November 8th, 2015

Phyllis Drake entered her heavenly home on Sunday, November 8th at 12:50pm. What a joy for her to be reunited with many of her family members, friends, dear husband, Bob Drake and her beloved Savior. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Keith Drake (Grace) and Don Drake (Donna); grandchildren Jenni Dirsten (Jeff), Tyler Drake (Jamie-Lee), Jordan Drake (Evelyn), Jocelyn Permann (Chris), thirteen adoring great-grandchildren and her sister Edna Vermont. Phyllis will always be remembered for her ever present beautiful smile, extraordinary gift of hospitality, ability to encourage and bring joy to those around her and her faith in Christ that was unwavering until her last breath.
Phyllis and her husband Bob, an inseparable team, were an active part of the farming community; living 63 years on their farm just southwest of Strathmore. They were very involved in the Flying Farmers Association and were founding members of the Alliance Church in Strathmore. As integral members in their community, they impacted many people and were a blessing to all those who had the privilege of entering their sphere of influence. A celebration service will be held on Friday, November 13th at Strathmore Alliance Church at 2:00 p.m. Friends and family are welcome to join this time of honouring and remembering the life of Phyllis.
