CAMPBELL, Ramona (Mona)
August 11, 1950 to October 20, 2015

Mona, beloved wife of P. Jaye Campbell, passed away suddenly on October 20th at the age of 65. She is survived by her devoted husband P. Jaye Campbell; her treasured son Sean Ramsey; Aunt Genevie Dean “Auntie”, cousin Faith Dean and Faith’s daughter Crystal (Adam) Lajeunesse and their daughter Charlotte; sister Wanda (Mike) Martin, and nieces Kristen (Dwayne) Wilson and Heidi (David) Sudlow. Mona is also survived by her step-daughters Kim Campbell and Lynda (Gerry) Tribble, 3 grandchildren Brandy (Mike) Pollock, Nicole (Chris) Campbell, and Courtney (Jon) Leinweber and 3 great grandchildren, Maelin, Vicky, and Joe. She is predeceased by her parents Erma and Wilber Hogg and her uncle Don Dean. Mona was born and raised in Calgary and graduated from Bowness High School. She worked in accounting within the steel industry until she settled on a nursing career. She was a dedicated, caring nurse with a successful career with Alberta Health Services. Since moving to Strathmore in 1984, Mona enjoyed life on the ranch, surrounded by animals. She was generous to a fault with her time, resources and love. Since retirement Mona focused her time and energy on helping others. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Lord of All Lutheran Church (112 Lakeside Blvd, Strathmore) at 10:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Craigmyle Cemetery.
