McLACHLAN, Eileen

It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Eileen McLachlan of Strathmore, AB on August 17, 2013 at the age of 69 years. Eileen is survived by her two loving children Patti (Alex) Chisholm and Brian Mow; precious grandchildren Connor, Michelle, and Cole; three brothers Ray, Jim, and John McLachlan; and seven nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her mother in 1990 and father in 2000. Eileen was born and raised in Brandon, Manitoba and graduated from psychiatric nursing in 1964. She continued her many friendships throughout the years.  Eileen derived great pleasure and satisfaction from helping people less fortunate than herself.  The family would like to thank the medical staff at the Foothills ICU for their care and compassion during this difficult time.  A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at Rocky View Garden of Peace Chapel (Hwy #1 & Garden Road) at 2:00 p.m. To send condolences please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.
