Keeler, Merna

Merna (Stinn) Keeler passed away peacefully, on December 29, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Merna was born in Calgary on July 10, 1928 to Albert & Cecilia Stinn.  She was raised on the family farm near Rockyford, and on November 16, 1953 married Fred Keeler. Merna leaves behind her children, Ray (Doreen), Howard (Laurie-Anne), Shayne (Lynne), daughter Shelley, and Warren; a beloved sister Eileen, numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Fred Keeler, a son Michael, brothers Bud, Terry, Howard, and sister Delores.  A prayer service will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at St. Rita’s Catholic Church, Rockyford at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, Janurary 3, 2011, also at St. Rita`s Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment St.Rita`s Catholic Cemetery.  If desired, donations may be made directly to STARS Air Ambulance (Box 570, 1441 Aviation Park NE,Calgary, T2E 8M7).  To send condolences please visit www.wheatlandfuneralhome.ca.  WHEATLAND FUNERAL HOME LTD.
