HAASE, Nathan Don

February 16, 1986 – August 30, 2011

 

It is with heart filled sadness that we say goodbye to our beloved son, brother, and grandson, Nathan, after a tragic accident.  He will be greatly missed by his mom and dad, Don and Brenda, his brother Leeland and special friend Carrie, the love of his life Tavia Mah, Granny – Audrey Gargas, the Rusnack family, the Jakubiszyn family, his god parents Darcy and Terri Haase, and good friend Mike Bobbitt.  He will also be greatly missed by all his uncles, aunts, cousins and his many, many special friends.  Nathan had an incredible way with people, no matter their age or gender they were all his friends.  If you were having a bad day, all you had to do was talk to him and you would feel better. Nathan was born in Calgary and raised in Strathmore where he graduated from Strathmore High School.  He was a journeyman electrician and recently took his dream job with Enmax as a power lineman. Nathan was a dedicated volunteer firefighter with the Strathmore Rural Firefighters Association. He was predeceased by his Papa, Bill Gargas, and his Grandpa and Grandma, Don and Joyce Haase. A celebration of Nathan’s life was held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Hope Community Covenant Church (245 Brent Blvd., Strathmore) at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made directly to the Strathmore Rural Fire Department (Box 16, Site 7, RR#1, Strathmore, Alberta, T1P 1J6).
