Delgado, Shirley May

Shirley passed away suddenly on New Year’s Day at the age of 63 years. She is the beloved wife and soul mate of Luis and loving mother of Curtis. Shirley was born in Cabri, Saskatchewan but has lived in Calgary, Lethbridge and finally Speargrass (Carseland). Shirley was predeceased by her parents Gordon and May Coulter and father-in-law Henry Delgado. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Lou; son Curtis; mother-in-law Angela Delgado; niece Laura Peters; nephews Christopher and Paul Warren; and many precious friends who cared so much for her. Shirley lived life to the fullest, never complained and never gave up, having survived Eisenmenger’s Syndrome and Amyloidosis. Her concern was always for those she loved. A funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the First United Church (502 – 13 Street N., Lethbridge, Alberta) at 11:00 a.m. The family has requested in lieu of flowers that donations be made directly to S.T.A.R.S.
